The Festival de Arte y Ecología [Art & Ecology Festival] was a free public program made up of eight workshops that interwove artistic practices with ecological thinking to inspire connection and sensitivity toward the natural world. Held over the course of two days, the festival featured four workshops each day—two in the morning and two in the evening. Each session invited participants to engage creatively and reflect on our relationships with nature and its life forms. Activities included bundle dyeing, botanical inks, block printing, recycled paper making, and more.
As Project Coordinator, I oversaw and managed all aspects of the educational programming. This included developing the festival’s visual identity and conceptual framework, designing registration forms, recruiting artists and educators, coordinating materials and resources, leading community outreach, and managing on-site logistics and public engagement throughout the event.
